About

STEPS is a volunteer fraternal  organization made up of hourly employees of United Parcel Service North Texas District, and is governed by a set of rules put in place at it’s inception and provided here via the STEPS Downloads pageAs a registered member of this site you will be able to access the STEPS Download page to retrieve that document and all other documents related to STEPS membership and recruiting.  We encourage all members of STEPS to promote STEPS to their hourly co-workers.

While the subtitle of this site infers that STEPS consists of only drivers, which it did in the beginning, it is more accurate to say that STEPS Members include all hourly employees, including the part-time/full-time classification of employees.  The key qualifier being that the employee must be covered by the Central States Health and Welfare Plan.

This site has been created and is being maintained by the STEPS founder and co-administrator SOLELY for the use and convenience of STEPS Members and Prospective Members.  You can learn more about the History of STEPS at the link provided in the Menu Bar that appears in the header image of every page on the site.

Please feel free to browse the site or call for more information about STEPS.  Contact Information is also provided through a link in the Menu Bar.

If you would like to offer a comment to the STEPS administrator about any of the information on this site, you may do so in the comment forms that are available on all of the pages of the site, however, you must be a registered user to make a comment. Comments are monitored on a semi-regular basis, but any questions will be answered as soon as possible.  The best way to obtain information quickly is to simply call the STEPS Administrator, Charles Boddie, at 1-903-387-0179.

By clicking the link to the email inviter, in the lower right corner of each page of this site, you may invite other of your co-workers to visit this site.  We also encourage you to use Twitter, also provided here, to make others aware that STEPS is available.
