Were You Trying To Get The STEPS Downloads?

If you were attempting to access the STEPS Downloads page you were directed to this page because you have not yet registered as a free user of this site.  If you would still like to have access to the downloads, which include the STEPS Rules and Regulations, then please click on either of the registration links on the right side of this page.  Once you have registered and received your Welcome Letter containing your system generated password, you can LOGIN to the site and access the STEPS Downloads page.

Signing Up For STEPS At the Credit Union

Traditionally STEPS has required members to become members of The Local Federal Credit Union in order to faciliate the automatic transfer of monthly contributions to the STEPS account at the Credit Union on or around the 25th of each month.  If you would like to join STEPS and use your Local Federal Credit Union account to make your contributions, go to the STEPS Downloads page of this site, select the appropriate membership form to download, print and complete the form and mail it to the STEPS Administrator.

We encourage all prospective members to use The Local Federal Credit Union as their method of making their monthly STEPS contributions.  Not only is it cheaper, it is the easiest method to set up and use.

Until now the Credit Union has been the only practical method of managing the STEPS funds and maintaining accurate records of all contributions.  This has changed now that other methods of money transfer systems have become sophisticated enough to create a reliable alternate.  We have chosen to use PayPal exclusively for our Alternate Contribution Method.  Learn more about why we use PayPal Here.

STEPS understands that there are some certain situations where prospective members are not, can not, or choose not to be members of The Local Federal Credit Union, and therefore, have decided to offer this alternative method in an effort to make sure that no one is excluded simply because of membership issues at the Credit Union.

Become A New STEPS Member with PayPal

By downloading the  STEPS Alternate Contribution Method Membership Application, then clicking on the “PayPal” button below, anyone who is otherwise qualified to become a member will be able to set up a recurring monthly payment for their STEPS Membership.  This method of making your STEPS contribution will require an additional dollar and 20 cents ($31.20 instead of $30.00 via the Credit Union Method) to cover paypal payment fees. *** Please note ALL new members must call prior to starting membership ***
